Update Sellers To Be Concerned About
In our last post we warned you about Item number: 8758331903 from seller potofoldgold .The Renata Galasso reprint sold for $316.99.
Just listed this week is item number: 8763265403 a 1933 Goudey Babe Ruth #149 with a starting bid of $5.00 and a BIN of $1200.00. What is particularly interesting is upon looking at the scan provided by seller jeep4359 , it appears to have exactly the same flaws as the card above.
Not close not kind of but exactly. Is this a coincedence, or am I seeing things? You decide.

Seller: renocustomgolfcart The item for sale is a 1953 Topps Mickey Mantle # 82 . They provide clear scans of the front and back . The back clearly shows it is a 1991 Topps Archives which was a reprint of the original 1953 set.
Our seller chose to answer and display a question, here is that excahnge.
A: These were My Recently Passed grandfather's Cards.I Don't Have any Knowledge When It Comes To the price he paid. I Just Know That He Bought These When He Was about 20 Yrs.Old, He Was 52 when he passed three months ago.
If indeed old grandad was 20 when he bought them that would have made him 34 when he passed away, since the card was printed in 1991.

Seller: bric-a-brac-baron Private auction, private feedback, all sales final, and selling 20 T206 tobacco cards that look like they came out of the pack yesterday. Has this to say " Ladies and Gents here I have an assortment of baseball cards. I will do my best to describe them accurately. Cards are not my 'cup of tea; of you will so this will be an all sales final auction! I have no idea when they were made or what Cigarette cards even are! Excellent with no restorations or damage, only slight discoloration from age , no bends or creases" Has no idea but knows enough to tell us the cards are not restored.

Seller: nickjhk States in their item description " Unfortunatley this is a AS IS auction meaning no returns are excepted. The reason for this is the large amount of counterfiets out there. " So the easy fix for this would be to get the card graded and realize maximum return.

Seller: trademart2004 Had this card removed last summer, I guess they think that a new year means no one is watching or remembers. If our report doesn't scare you this should, the seller says " If I wasnt needing money fast I would get these MANTLES graded but my hastiness is your gain. " Anyone saying that to me who is trying to sell me something of supposed value just lost the sale.
